Crabby waitress. I’d had lab work done and hadn’t had food nor coffee. I decided to go there since I figured they’d have good coffee. Their lunch special included tea. Figuring that coffee and tea were the same price (they were on the menu but without prices ), I asked if I could have coffee instead. The waitress, a woman probably in her early to mid 60s, gruffly said yeah for $1.69. This same waitress had just been rude to an older gentleman sitting at a table alone. She was mouthing about him as she passed by several tables of customers. After having witnessed her behavior towards him and then her attitude towards me, we got up and left without eating. She is a very poor excuse for a waitress and i won’t go back!
Old Cafe Style. I love the environment. And the food goes along with it. One of my favorite places.

09 Oct, 2014Best breakfast in town. Amazing biscuits. Good service, friendly waitresses very reasonable prices. My favorite place to go for breakfast in Abilene. PS–coffee is 1000% better than IHOP.
Good simple fare.. I think velmuh has an ax to grind. Place was crowded. The Mr. Pig omelette was delicious. Coffee was very good and far from dirt. Always a go to when in Abilene.

Nothing fancy, but incredible food and wonderful, courteous service. Good food at a good price. Will be coming back!
