Lunch Special. I was early to meet a friend at the zoo down the way and found this place, so I thought I’d stop for lunch. There was a line out the door, so that was a good sign.I got the lunch special: two slices of pizza, a salad, and a drink. The salad is a salad bar where you get your own, which was nice. The pizza was very good.
As a native New Yorker I have to say if you are looking for that authentic NY style Pizza this is the place to go. Just order a slice of cheese, dust on some garlic powder, fold it in half and enjoy!
Awesome food! Our family loves this place, great pizza, calzones, and pasta. We have a big family and the value for the food can’t be beat in Abilene.
Authentic. Love the dough and fresh ingredients, flavorful cheese and fantastic meats, never skimpy just fold and enjoy.
Good Pizza at Good Price. I discovered Joe’s a few years ago when I moved to Abilene, and it quickly became a favorite Friday night food place. The toppings are always fresh & generous, and the NY style crust the right combo of thin, chewy, and crunchy. We usually get an extra large pepperoni w/ mushroom, but everything I’ve eaten at Joe’s has been delicious, especially the strombolis. And Joe’s a very nice guy.
Horrible!! Bland pasta and dry Philly sandwich plus they jipped us on our order.
Yuuum. I’ve been going to Joe’s regularly ever since I discovered it five years ago. I LOVE the stromboli, calzones, pizza and homemade pasta. The salad and delicious marinara house dressing is to die for. I much prefer this location to the other; I think it’s owned by another branch of the family. The owner is super nice and always says hello, and I recommend it as a MUST visit. I love Joe’s.
