I’ve been gone for so long. But when my friend comes to visit me in Nebraska, I request lapopular Tamales- I have found noone who makes them as well up here- I will be visiting 2 weeks- CANT wait for the breakfast burritos, the lunch burritos, and I will be calling shortly to order several dozen tamales I can freeze and bring home 🙂
Great food!!
Adios, Taco Bell. I’ve driven past LPB countless times, but finally stopped by and bought a couple of combo plates (2 beef enchiladas, taco, tamale, rice, beans) for my kids. Both enjoyed the meals, only $6 each. I picked up an egg & bacon breakfast burrito this morning for $2. Good & filling. So next time we’re in the mood for Tex-Mex fastfood, no more Taco Bueno Bell. LPB is the real deal (and worth braving the crazy car spaces).
An absolute MUST for breakfast!!! I always get potato and egg, which is perfect with their amazing hot sauce. Yummmmmm!
Pick up breakfast here on Saturday. This location is across from the HEB on the corner of S. 14th and Barrow. Everything here is cheap and delicious! They serve great tacos, especially breakfast options like the bacon/egg/cheese or chorizo/egg/cheese or potato/egg … the options go on and on. The teeny tiny parking lot is crammed with people on Saturday mornings trying to pick up some breakfast for the family. They also sell large packs of fresh tortillas if you are in the mood for making your own tacos at home.
La Popular on 14th. You can get you breakfast burrito anywhere in town. However is you want a real food one go to La Popular! On my way out today I hit them up. Like most times when I drive by lots of cars and people. Managed to get in the parking lot, very small. Pocked up a couple of burritos for myself and the crew. Check them out!
