Great Place for a Burger and More. We were on our way back to Austin from New Mexico and my wife was feeling like a burger . . . we don’t eat burgers much and never eat at the fast food joints, so when she found Lucy’s on her smart phone right before we got to Abilene, we agreed to go and check it out. GLAD WE DID. Great burgers – the fresh buns that smelled and tasted just like my grandmother’s homemade buns, the ample size of the burger, the fresh vegies, and to top it off: homemade jalapeno ketchup. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It was perfect. The large cut fries accompanied the burgers well. For dessert, Lucy’s has homemade ice cream. We went with a combo of chocolate and peanut butter. What’s not to love about this place with reasonably priced great food? Will be back every time we come through Abilene without a doubt.

Best burger in Abilene. This place makes the best burger in Abilene! What makes the burger is the bun. Great new location fixed the only problem Lucy’s had…that it was too far to get to during lunch break. Anybody putting this burger down is either a troll for one of the competition or doesn’t know good food!
More garbage in Taylor County. Its Abilene Tx for gaawds sake Better then most when compared to Sonic,King and D’s and even Heff’s(gag)WHOLLY COW smokes this joint with simple ease
This is the best burger I have had. The staff is very friendly, and homemade ice cream is delicious .
Hands down this is my favorite mom-and-pop shop for burgers and home made ice team in abilene. The actual flavor of the burger is really what sets it apart from other places. They also have real jalapeo poppers wrapped in bacon so don’t pass them up. Management is super friendly too.
Never going back. . Why the hell was it $30 for 2burgers? The toppings were good but the patty was just a hunk of unseasoned meat. The fries were OK. That’s all I enjoyed, I won’t ever go back to this place. To top everything off there was constant, nauseating christian rock/pop going the whole time.
