I moved to Abilene from Western NY 4 months ago and have tried many burger places. Lucy’s was recommended. The service and servers were ok, the food not so much. The burger was almost to the point of dry and for a half pound burger quite small. I was charged .79 to change the cheese from swiss to pepper jack, charged 2.29 for a full glass of ice with little beverage in it and needed refill long before I was asked. The fries were either half cooked or soggy and barely warm. I almost put jalapeno ketchup on them because the bottle wasn’t labeled. Thankfully the server could tell I was a newbie and cautioned me. Ultimately I paid $14.15 for an over cooked burger, glass of ice and under cooked fries. Won’t be returning to Lucy’s and recommend anyone who wants a great burger try Rick and Carolyn’s on Buffalo Gap..
Dry Burger – Will not go back.. Bun was cold. Meat was too thick and overcooked. Fries were very limp and soggy. The small burger was $6 or $7. Can’t understand why so many people go there.
