We ate lunch at Oscars for the first and last time , The worst food I have ever had not spoiled just really bad food . No taste, salsa way to hot and the beans and rice were very bland. I had chili reanos with beef and cheese no salt , no taste didn’t finish my plate my husband had chimi chunga and it was covered with melted cheese no chili and was also taste less. when the waitress came buy to ask if we liked the meal we tried to tell her we didn’t and she just walked away . Very dissatisfied will never go back
Service was slow. Food was okay. The chile relleno came with cheese on top rather than a red sauce. Their salsa was very good–nice bite without being too hot. When I poured some of that on my chile relleno it made all the difference in the world. I would go back. Not great, but very good.
The outside looks a little run down but the inside is clean and kept up. The men’s room was clean too. My cute little waitress was professional but relaxed – how I like it. The food itself was… Unremarkable. Very simple – not bad, just nothing unique or memorable. It’s like they don’t use a lot of grease or spices so it’s very simple and plain. I hate greasy oily food, so I enjoyed that it was neither of those but I can’t rave that it’s great either. Would I come again? Maybe – if staying at a neighboring hotel and didn’t want to cross a busy street to get something on the other side.
