Best Porterhouse in Abilene. Lived here pretty much my whole life and I’ve had steak just about everywhere. Outback has the best porterhouse t-bone around, I like mine medium rare. The classic blue cheese salad is a must with the steak along with the steamed broccoli. Outback has a wonderful curb side service that is very efficient. My husband and son like their chicken fried chicken if your looking for something different than steak.
Food was good but service was slow. Guess that is what happens when the GM is not in the house.
Food was good. Huge portions. Chicken fried steak could feed a small village. Service was average but very cheerful & friendly.
Abilene outback. ABILENE OUTBACK IS JUST AWFUL. We used to go to the one in Midland all the time, and various others have been great…but Abilene has a horrible store. It’s a wonder they remain in business. After waiting an eternity we were seated, then waited way over an hour for an easy order. When it finally arrived EVERYTHING was cold. We should have complained but we just wanted to get OUTof there. My husband and I were both servers back in the day so we know it is hard work at times but we also know poor management & laziness. This was the third time we had been to Abilene Outback –3 Strikes.
Outback is one of my favorite chains. Food quality and service was disappointing. Manager comp’d meal when I told her she should check their vegetables. (tomatoes in salad had obvious brown spots and there was some kind of foreign object in the baked potato). It’s a shame really. I love outback.
OUTBACK. I love their potato soup and salad and other times I order the house special the 6 oz. with green beans that are to die for . LOVE IT !
The worst experience of my eating career. This place is horrible. We waited for over an hour to be seated. The service sucked. Once again ran out of the steak that went with the meal that my wife ordered. I do not know how this place keeps it’s doors open. Will never eat here again or suggest it to my worst enemy. HORRIBLE!!!!!
