Horrible. This has got to be one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Awful service, exceptionally rude staff all around. The food is garbage; old hot sauce out of a jar, stale taco shells, microwave beans and rice. I actually found an iced over cold spot in my rice.I will never go here again. I almost always find something I like about a restaurant. Not here.

Avoid. This place has good cold beer, but the food is way below average and bland. Service is hit and miss. If they are busy it takes forever. Waitresses are friendly but there are either not enough of them or they don’t have proper training. The building seems like a former office that was made in to a restaurant by someone with no money. Don’t bother complaining, the manager is loud and obnoxious, seems like the guy who usually gets in to fights at bars.
We went for a cold beer and an appetizer on a hot Saturday. There was only 2 other people and service was terrible. The waitress was so busy flirting with the other table!! It took her 7 minutes just to say hello and give us a menu! The food is not as good as it used to be but the beer was at least cold- we left quickly after having one.
When I eat at a new Mexican place I give it the Chile Relleno test. As its not the easiest thing to prepare; If they can make a good Chile Relleno then you can rest assured the rest of the menu is good as well. As you might imagine, I’ve had a few good ones and many not-so-good… I just had the best Chile Relleno I have ever eaten at Papa Jacks. I will daydream about it until I can get back there.
