Used to be good. This used to be a good place to eat. It tastes ad though Sharon is cutting corners. Meat is dry and tastes pre-cooked. It sure doesn’t taste homemade. Way better bbq in Abilene now.
Ribs were delicious and Bry tender. I liked having a choice oh sauces. I had the spicy and it was very good. I also liked homemade jalapeo corn bread and they made fresh coffee for me.
This is not Texas BBQ. Very disappointed. I had the brisket and turkey. Both were very bland and tasted more like boiled meat than smoked meat. Sides were very bland and corn bread was dry. Hopefully this is not the best Abilene had to offer! If so this Texas girl might have to go back to Wyoming!!
This is the worst BBQ I have ever eaten. Seriously neither my husband nor myself could finish it. He had a chopped BBQ sandwich and I had ribs and smoked sausage. They were both bad, but the sausage still gives me nightmares.
Bad experience all the way around! It was our first time there and we asked what was popular and the lady seemed to be bothered by my question as did the staff behind her. They were rude and to top it off the food was not good! I’ll never set foot there again!
BBQ lunch side dish. I had a corporate BBQ lunch at my office yesterday. I did the BBQ but ran out of time for the sides. I called Sharon’s for a side of potato salad. The cost was shocking, $25 for a pound of potato salad. Granted it was good but, not $25 good. Next time I will ask one of the wives to make the tater salad.
It was your run-of-the-mill fake bbq taste… Loads of sugar, liquid smoke canned vegetable, and MSG flavor. Really disappointing…….
