Disappointed. I have always liked this bakery, I use just about every time I need a cake. I recently went in to order a birthday cake with a picture on it. I went in on a Friday to place my order and was told that I could come and get it the next day as long as it was before 530. So the next day around 2pm or so, I went back to pick up my cake. The lady at the counter told me that my cake wasn’t ready, because they hadn’t brought it back yet. I asked her what she meant by that, (I thought they did the whole decorating at this bakery, otherwise I could have just went somewhere else) she said that they send the cakes somewhere else to have pictures put on it. So I left and came home, as soon as I got home there was a message on my answering machine telling me that my cake was ready. I do not live in Abilene, so I was annoyed that I had to drive all the way back into Abilene to pick up my cake. Also, once I got the cake and we cut into it to eat it, it was dry and the icing didn’t taste like it should have. I am very unhappy with my experience at this bakery. I will NOT be using this bakery again!

Best bakery in town!. THE BEST SHEET CAKES! My family gets our birthday cakes here always! Never disappoints! Also love the Russian Rock cookies, and the thumbprints are a great treat too. Just tried the new honey walnut cookie bars. Yum!
Thumbs-up on cookies!. I can’t rate the cakes — it’s been a long while since I’ve had one from Snowhite. But, the thumbprint cookies are a classic!! I’ve even mailed them out-of-state to former Abilenians.
Cakes don’t live up to the hype. I was told that Snow White Bakery had the best cakes in town so I ordered one for my wife’s birthday. We were so disappointed. It just did not taste good, the frosting was terrible, the cake was dry, just a bad experience. Lesson learned, we won’t be ordering a cake from here again.
