I’m confused. How is it that Antonio Ristorante has been in Addison for 17 years and I’ve only now discovered it? I’ve missed out on 17 years of great meals and awesome service, and if you’ve never been to this restaurant, you’ve missed out, too!Outdoor seating, full bar, excellent wine menu and knowledgeable staff and a variety of staple and unique Italian dishes make this a go to spot.

Antonio is a spectacular find. It’s hidden away in the Addison Circle area. Had I known this place was so lovely and customer focused, I would have been here way before now. The restaurant sits in full view of the blue metal structure in the middle of the round-about. It’s your view when you sit on the patio. Inside the curved walls are floor to ceiling bricks. Shutters, sconces, doors and other decorations create a cozy warm feeling. Soft music plays over head. It’s a very relaxing place to be. The service is on par with top restaurants. They are caring and helpful. They know the menu inside and out.The food is good. I would give it a four, which is why I did not land on an overall rating of 5.0. The lettuce wedge was probably my favorite dish. I like the way they smothered the wedge and added other veggies to round it out. The lasagna was good. So was the Antonio’s Carbonara. The poached egg added a very unique flavor interaction that I enjoyed. The Chocolate Vesuvius (molten cake) was kind of flat. I would not order it again.I know I am not lifting up the food as awesome, but this restaurant is. Service and atmosphere make this an instant hit with me. I cannot wait to bring friends and family to enjoy the place.

I just had the best surprise in a long time. Our regular area restaurant was closed for remodeling (really) and came to Antonios. It was fantastic!!!

I have been to this restaurant several times, however I went today 11/16/2011 and will never return. I was more than disappointed with the food we ordered a pizza which has been really good in the past but today it was terrible it took over an hour and was raw when I told the waiter he said worry about that and took my credit card and never offered to bring us something else. It’s not the money its the principal. Besides they offer no happy hour specials the place was empty now I know why.

Had dinner with great friends and my wife who came in town from Nashville. Everything was awesome. I now know why it is our friends fav. It is now ours as well.

The menu said all the right things. Looking forward the real Italian food. Instead. Over cooked pasta, terrible sauces and frozen meatballs from a bag. So dissapointing. Good Italian in Dallas remains elusive. Just go to Carabba’s at least they try. Antonio’s was really bad.
