I really enjoyed the chips and salsa. The chips were thin and crispy, but solid enough to hold up to the weight of the delicious homemade salsa. Had a lunch-sized salad that was delicious and more than filling. Prices were a little high, but my server was on top of everything, and you pay for good service. I can’t give it 5 stars because the salad wasn’t the most amazing thing I have ever had, but it was definitely tasty and I would no doubt come back!

Mixed Feelings – Okay Food but Pricing is a Question Mark. Cantina Laredo has a lovely dark wood decor. The lighting is very low for ambiance. I like the look. The service is kind of pushy. They seem to have a set protocol they have to go through whether it makes sense for the guest or not. The upsale on everything was too much. He pushed specific drinks, appetizers and some of the most expensive plates on the menu. At the end, we said we are not interested in dessert. He brought the physical tray anyway. That’s a deal killer. We said no already. The food was good. I enjoyed my Pollo Mango Mole. My wife’s fish special was also good. While we both enjoyed our meal, it was not a $15-20 plate. I can get the same flavor and better in most Mexican restaurants. We had two beers and two entrees. No appetizers and no dessert. The total bill with tip was $64. I will not be back. Pushy upsale and over pricing did me in.
