All Ferrari’s should be red. And from the sauce to the Chianti this place is as red as any hot blooded Italian – okay, never mind.I’m rambling. Lets keep it simple.I love this place. Now when we go to Dallas, we visit lots of friends, and most (like us) have children. But we sometimes break away for an adults-only dinner, and when we do, this is my favorite place to go.Elegant but unpresumptuous, the bar offers a nice place to share a glass of wine while waiting for friends, or a quick retreat when the men want to abandon the table (and the women) for a few minutes of testosterone-infused conversation. The linen on the tables and the very nice wine glasses maintain the distinct refinement of the unassuming decor, and all this atmosphere brings your senses to a level of expectation that is then duly surpassed by the service and the food. The waiters are seasoned professionals. The food is excellent. The sauce is exploding with flavor. The steak (I always have the ribeye) is in my opinion always prepared to perfection, and the wine selection is generous and reasonably priced. Not inexpensive, but that’s why we left the kids at home. You can’t go wrong here.
Traveling and wanted good Italian food Looked for a restaurant with gnocchi and found Ferrari’s. We had a wonderful meal. The gnocchi was so tender and delicious. The lasagna was also amazing. The meal started with ficcasia bread straight from the wood burning oven and we ended our fabulous meal with their homemade desserts including taramisu, cheesecake and creme brle . I would totally recommend this fine restaurant . Prices are reasonable but more importantly the flavors are so worth it. Enjoy!!
Food was good but a bit overpriced. Service was excellent!! Charming and elegant atmosphere. Great place for a date or night out with friends if you don’t mind paying a little more.
Being There couple years ago! And we came back several times….Just made today we’d night!Waw what a change…took someone that want to impress…Nothing like I have found in the past! You have to wave to servers to come back to the table…a salad bar that you can’t serve yourself! When they do….the guy make your plate the way he likes, not even ask!Of course with the most tips veggies!Very nice place with a horrible service…Price it’s okay (pizza does better), felt bad
Delicious meal. Be sure to try the tiramosu. Nonna’s bread comes with your meal and it is delish. Good service. Very representative of our experiences in Italy.
Group menu is overpriced and not good.. We had a big group, so the restaurant forced us to use the group menu, $50 per person. No choices for our guests, just one entree offer. Did not want to ruin the party, so we negotiated to have another entree selection. The appetizer was pretty good, but not the main entree. The party manager ensured us portion would be nice, but it turned out to be small. When I saw the dishes coming out of the kitchen, I immediately held my breath and could not believe what I saw. The plating was very blend, looking just like the cafeteria food. There were small pieces of salmon, chicken and veal and probably few boiled broccoli. The size of each piece was about 4inch by 4inch. Not everyone finished the plate, even had a comment about good appetizer, but bad entree. One of us ordered a vegetarian in advance, all they could offer was a simple marina spaghetti, exactly like the ones you get at Olive Garden. You got to be kidding me… Did not even bother to put any veggies in the spaghetti. The desert was ice cream on a layer of sponge cake. The pieces were not evenly cut. Some got really small and thin piece. Othere had huge ones. Overall, we liked the appetizer, not an impressing experience. Was it worth $50/person? Not really!! Totally agreed with the overpriced comments from other reviews.
Over priced. To complacated for Italian food.
