Amazing amazing amazing…Service : Superb Food: ExcellentQuality: Top of expectation Price: Just right!Recommendation: You will definitely come back. I have been in this restaurant 2 times and I would definitely come back everytime I visit Dallas.
Ok experience. It was New Year’s Eve – we had a 9 PM reservation. We arrived at 8:30 PM so that we would be seated on time. We did not get seated until 9:30 PM. Several folks who came in after us got seated right away. My hubby and I were both given the run-around when asking why we weren’t seated. Other than that, the food was good (not GREAT). They were out of the wine we requested. So all in all, it was an ok experience. Will I go back? Most likely not for a while. The bill was $161 before tip. So it was very expensive to have to wait an hour and not get our first choice wine.
Awful Experience. This was my first time at Fogo, and it was my last. This was by far the worst Brazilian steakhouse I have been to. The server never came back to our table after delivering our cocktails until he brought us our receipt to sign that someone else had to give us. The bread was not fresh, and every cut of meat except maybe 2 was given to me medium well after specifically stating I wanted rare to medium rare. Very disappointing, and it causes you to fill up on something you are unsatisfied with. My card was green, and seriously 8 meat servers walked by without stopping. I have not had this poor of service in a long time, and I realize this place is way overrated. I suggest Rafain or Texas de Brazil over Fogo any day. Do not waste your time and money.
Dallas- Fine Dining. Just get out the wallet….but well worth the experience. Had one very memorable high end Christmas office dinner party here in early 2000’s. We flew in folks from Canada for this one. Largest and most complete salad bar I ever saw, unlimited grilled meats of every variety, steak, chicken, sirloin, rib eye, and so on all served by waiters in Gaucho outfits holding a spear of meat. They served as long as your card showing green was turned up. Fabulous!
MEAT….Meat is good.. I like Fogo de chao better than all the other DFW churrascarias because of their meat. The meat is smokier, more flavorful, and more tender than those of their competitors. Salad bar is par for the course. It’s about the meat here, anyway, right? diningwithdeliajo.com
YUM!. This place is one of my favorites between here and Texas de Brazil!
Amazing meats. This place is a must go for a true appreciation of gaucho style meat grilling. They have really good ambience, great service, absolutely amazing meat selection, lamb, chicken, beef, pork. A little pricey but most definitely worth the price. Be ready to average around $150 per couple but you will not be disappointed with the quality or atmosphere. Been here several times and the food has been excellent every time. My favorite is the bread with parmesan cheese baked in. That stuff is pure deliciousness. Probably my favorite Brazilian steak house.
