Loved our dining experience and the food! Waitress was wonderful! We ate at the Crescent Club last weekend and this outranks it by far! We had the Ahi Tuna appetizer – wonderful, I had the Sea Bass special – best cooked by far in all of Dallas, husband had filet – perfectly cooked and delicious!
Disappointing. Arrived a little after 5 p.m…a few people in the restaurant. Hostess asked how she could help us…uh…we’re here to eat. Was seated, order taken, and then almost an hour later our food arrived. Waiter kept coming out and telling us he saw our food and that it should be out shortly. Meanwhile, other people had entered the restaurant and had been served. Both my husband and I ordered the filet mignon and the cut was suspiciously like a New York steak and was not cooked to order. Figured if we complained, it would be another hour before we saw our food. Worst filet mignon we have had. Will not return to this restaurant.
Overpriced for outdated and below average food. Crab cakes were plain and oily. Tuna sashimi was cliche and Caesar salad was standard and ordinary. Rib eye tasted like it was frozen. Lacked taste and server said it wasn’t aged. Very surprising considering the high prices. Would not return here again.
We went to Jaxx last night with company we had in town. They seated us as we walked in the door, which was nice. Our server wasn’t my favorite, he took forever to take our order. I got a fish and crab thing, I liked it, but nothing to rave about. Both guys got steaks and liked the flavor, but they were overdone :/ over it was a nice atmosphere and the food was eh good. I’d give it a second chance, but it wasn’t outstanding.
Chicken salad nothing to write home about and was overpriced ; service ok but probably because not crowded at all; should have taken the hint and left.
Overpriced. Terrible meat. Poorly cooked. The unholy trinity of bad steakhouses.
Good food. loved the seabass. will be back again
