I’m not sure what the previous person meant by racist service. We’re a mixed race family & had excellent service. Staff always remember us after going the first time. Fish & chips is top notch as is the Steak frites. We like mixing things up and order the fish of the day or pasta of the day. ittybittyfoodies.com
Great place. Great service and food
Racist service..long waiting times for water and appetizers. …. Worst service ..management didn’t even acknowledge bad service from wait staff…
Great Ambiance. This brand new location of neighborhood services was just perfect. We went to a movie and then just drove over to this restaurant. We sat outside by a very cute little fire and had a drink and then went inside and had a really wonderful dinner. The service was great the waitstaff was excellent and friendly and the food was delicious
With Neighbor and Services in their name, you would think I would have been able to eat there.. So poor an experience, i left after one hour of pure standing and no one else waiting. Hostess on entering was eager to tell me about the ez wait. No other folk waiting, just reservations all quickly seated ahead of us. But that’s ok with us. So we waited patiently, 10 feet from the hostess station for 30 mins as promised. Checked again and which got us to 45 mins. Promised again at 60 mins when we finally quit. No hint of apology for her continued bs, not an offer of water while standing for an hour nor offer of a chair. To risk your valuable leisure time on amateurish service, roll your dice at Neighborhood Service. But if you’re tolerant, gullible and patient like we are, you’ll be tested and possibly upset, like we were. We don’t easily upset when treated honestly. I hope the food is worthy. I will never know and will never reccomend such Unneighborly poor Service.
Great Service,Great Food, Great Atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Neighborhood Services in Addison. We split a wedge salad, the London Broil, and the chocolate cake dessert. All were excellent. Well presented, well seasoned, and very accurately described by our wait person. Service was well informed, friendly, and interested in our having a good experience.
Watch out Houston’s!. My wife and I had dinner a few nights ago at the newest location for Neighborhood Services in Addison, and it was awesome! Our waiter helped us navigate the unpretentious menu, and offered suggestions. We started with his recommendation, chicken pate. Silky smooth texture and great flavor, we enjoyed every morsel. Next, we enjoyed the Bibb and beet salad, which the waiter offered a split size, so we would have room for the next courses. (Great suggestion, as salads are too large most other places, plus, we felt like he was watching our money, instead of trying to spend all we brought) Next, my wife had lemon sole, and I had chicken pot pie. My wife’s sole was delicious with a nice crispy outside, and delicate flaky inside. I normally would never order pot pie, but the waiter made it sound good. I’m glad I listened, because it was the best effing pot pie I’ve had since grandma’s. The crust was perfect. Inside was hot, creamy, with huge pieces of tender chicken. Lastly, we let our waiter order our dessert. He brought us the pot de creme, wow. Incredible dessert, dinner, and service. We will be back, but first, I need to cancel my reservations with Houston’s.
