Beautiful Location – So So Food. Taco Borracho is in a beautiful location just off the Addison Circle. It’s a split street with a park like setting in the middle. The patio has a nice view of the quaint area. Inside, the layout is nice with cement floors, soft green walls, and brown/red accents. It’s attractive and inviting. The servers are extremely nice. They say hello and thoroughly explain the menu. The food is delivered with a smile and nice comment. When you leave they say good bye and hope to see you again.The format is order and pay for your food at the counter. They will deliver it to your table using your order number. Non-alcoholic drinks are self serve. I ordered the three taco combo (Al Pastor, Pulled Pork, Brisket). It came with rice, black beans and chips/salsa. I was not really happy with any of it. Nothing was bad, but neither was it tasty. The beans had water flavor. The rice was okay. While the three tacos were large and filling, I did not enjoy them. The lettuce, onion and cheddar cheese over powered the meat flavor. If the meat is supposed to have a subtle flavor, then less toppings were needed. Cheddar is not overly strong, but it had more flavor than all three meats.
