Wow. For once my wife and I tried a restaurant that left us a menu on our front door. We walked in, and the owner, Jeff I believe was his name, instantly greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, and helped us out with a menu and describing their food and concept. Upon ordering, (fried dumplings, pad woon sen, and orange chicken), Jeff described the concept of ‘the box’. Which is what all of their food comes in. It is microwavable and dishwasher safe, so if you can’t finish your meal, you just snap on the lid that comes with your box, and bam – you have a to go box that will double as a new container for your home or office meals. We quickly got our food, which was steaming hot and you could tell that everything had just been cooked to order. The dumplings were perfect, and the sauce that came with it was AMAZING. We were told it is homemade, as with everything on their menu, and I believe it. My orange chicken was perfect, not too much breading and all white meat chicken. My wife’s pad woon sen was great for her as well. Clean restaruant, warm atmosphere, and funny enough, classic rock playing on the radio. I loved it! All in all, Thai Box is a restaurant that I will be going back to, with my wife AND our friends! Check it out!
Great place, great food!. I am a repeat customer at Thai Box in Addison. The food is served hot and fresh with lots of veggies. It is also served in a plastic container so I can take it home if I want to.The staff is very helpful and attentive. The restaurant is nice and clean, there are two big screen TV’s and soft music playing. Plus, it is BYOB so I always take a bottle of wine when dinning with my girlfriend. And the price is right.
Delicious. I decided to try this place today and the food was superb! Very clean restaurant and wonderful staff. The prices are just right! There are many restaurants in Addison and I’ve got to say this is one of my new favorites for sure! I would reccommend this place to anyone that like Thai food.
Number 1. Introduced to this place by my colleague. The food is real delicious and seeing they cook fresh just after we placing the orders. When I bought a to-go and put on the plate, the proportion is more than what I thought when seeing it packed in their boxes. The price was just right that I don’t know why other Thai places charged me almost double of this place with fewer quantities and don’t know whether they cooked fresh inside or not. Very surprise that I am the 1st to review here and this becomes the number 1 Thai on my list now.
