Will not be back for this food. Fish, of the Fish & Chips, were flavorless. Not even salt and/or malt vinegar could save it. Replaced it with beef tenderloin pie–ugh. Not much flavor there, but better than the fish. The side if baked beans were tasteless as well. Clearly the cook hasn’t found the salt yet.
Could get past the front door due to the smoking. If you don’t mind exposure to carcinogen the atmosphere was nice. The non smoker were sitting outside. I thought DFW all nonsmoking but not Addison.
The waitress is rude. We left after 1 drink. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
I really liked the atmosphere. Drink prices were reasonable. Service was pretty basic but no complaints.
Last week my check hadn’t cleared do to an error with Bank of America. My last resort was to call my mother and have her read over her credit card number. Needless to say the ideal was embarrassing but it was the only option. My friend and I make it a point to come to the Londener every Monday night. Tonight I over heard my server say to the bar tender that my card wasn’t good lady week so not to trust us. I am done. I am never coming back and telling anyone who considers coming back to avoid it all costs. No amount of forgiveness or free drinks or food will ever make me come back, you can bet your ass on that.
Love the place, but keep an eye on the bartenders! You order one thing and they pour you something else! However they still charge you for the good stuff! Then lie to your face after you catch them!
