Not worth it. The cheese and dessert is so good! Definitely a place to get dessert! The main course is a major let down, they bring you raw meat and tell you all the different times to cook each different meat. The waiter told us to get our iPhones and start timing the meats when we begin to boil them. We ordered shrimp, filet mignon, and chicken and they all had different cooking times so it was very annoying and stressful. Once the meat came you can not hold a conversation with your friends because you are too worried if your meat is cooked all the way. The meat is obviously boiled so the filet mignon was not good at all. I would only recommend their dessert because it was amazing, but the main course and salad are not worth your time or money.

Worst experience ever!! I had seen some bad reviews on here recently but me and my hubby go here on Valentines yearly and last year on NYE with friends so we decided to go again this year. Had a 45 min wait for a reservation & then another 30mins for a waiter to even take our drink order. They also tried to sit us at small two person table with only one pot to cook in. We were told it is policy to make the entire table share a pot unless otherwise requested, which has never been the case before. Our waitress was horrible an had to come back for our drink orders twice and our entire menu order a second time. It took us over three hours to eat and she shorted us a plate of food and mis charged us for drinks. Horrible service an we won’t be back which is unfortunate bc I really use to love this place.

Unfortunately there really isn’t much good to say and I used to like this restaurant. However, I will not come back and I will send my recommendations else where. The food was bad and the service was worse. The server made the cheese fondue incorrectly. We told him that it was bad and we didn’t eat it. The salad really was not good either. Then we got to the main course the oil was not to temperature we asked multiple times for this to be corrected. The batters were bad. They did not taste good and did not hold to the food. The manager came out at this point and did get us new batter and turned the temperature up. However this was the one and only attempt to solve the many food and service issues. The batters continued to fall off the food. We were in need of additional sauces but the server was no where to be found. The only decent part of the meal was the chocolate fondue. I will now and forever go to simply fondue. I never have these issues there.

Don’t waste the $ or time. Had a speaker above our head popping, asked the waiter to turn it off, he didn’t. An hour later we couldn’t stand it anymore, asked the manager and she thankfully turned it off before we went postal. Main course consisted of us boiling meat. Really? Who boils meat? Wife had to threaten their gratuity to get a second glass of wine, after waiting 20 minutes. Sister in law had to wait 30 minutes and then ask for more tea. Will never go to this chain again.

So yesterday my boyfriend an I decided to eat here for the first time. We made reservations an as soon as we sat down it took our waitress 20 minutes to greet us. Than some random lady comes by to fill our drinks with water. Than finally our waitress comes welcomes us than goes over the menu. Even after she explained the menu we were still so confused. So she gave us time to look over the menu before she took our order 30 mins later an it was even here that took our order it was the bartender. Anyways we skipped dinner an went straight to desert. We had the white chocolate creme burlee. Awesome choose for us. Well once again we were greated by a different server who started our melting pot an as soon as he walked away our stove stopped working so not only did the flame die in 30 seconds we had cold chocolate so 15 minutes went by again before we were greeted by our original server she finally asked us how was it an we replied Cold so she turned the stove back on but check this out our fondue spoon were completely disgusting they still had chocolate on them from previous customers ugh hust nasty. After 30 minutes go by we finally get to enjoy our chocolate than the waitress gave us our check an than we left. But this was the worst experience ever we were so excited but it was not all what the hype made it seem. Were really disappointed from the cold chocolate to having three different servers that didn’t even serve us right to the dirty utensils.

Customer Service Mistake. I took my daughter and our family there for dinner for her 16th birthday. We were told any substitutions (meat for meat, seafood for seafood) was fine. We had a nice time. However, I brought my wife there on a whim 2 weeks later. My wife asked to substitute chicken for the duck. The waiter insisted that it wasn’t possible to do substitutions. I won’t be back. If I am going to go to an expensive restaurant, it will not be at a restaurant that is flighty with its policies of customer satisfaction. I did talk to the owner about this, and he offered a free chocolate, but no change in policy. If you are going to be an upscale restaurant, and someone asks for chicken instead of duck, you should be thankful that you are saving money.

Going to a Melting Pot restaurant is a neat experience. We enjoyed our meal and the whole presentation. If we visit one again, it would be for dessert and maybe a cheese fondue appetizer. The main course is good, but it is boiled meat after all.
