Kan’s is not an incredible experience but is a safe bet that you’ll be satisfied when looking for a non-complicated Asian outing. Chinese owned and Japanese inspired, their menu is comprised of several appetizer options, sushi, and hibachi plates. They offer a nice array of alcoholic drinks (wine, beer, tea, lattes… etc) to cater to differing tastes and meal types. I’m a fan of hibachi any day and have had many birthday occasions at various chains and, while Kan’s doesn’t set onions on fire and scoot them along the hot plate with a spatula while the chef makes a choo-choo noise, the food here delivers just as well. The place is decorated nicely and certainly cleaner than a couple other anonymous places I have dealt with. The staff is very friendly and the management is kind. Some say that the portions don’t meet the price, but I can at least say that for said price I was stuffed. Great spot!

New Favorite Restaurant. I love this place. I could not be more impressed with this restaurant. I have been searching for a delicious and dependable sushi restaurant in The Woodlands, and I have found it. The service is great and the sushi is out of this world.
Great little place! Who needs fancy when the food is good!? Happy hour specials are great, only problem is my husband and I ordered too much food. We have found our new little hole in the wall restaurant.
Great Place For Dinner!. My girlfriend & I found this place on http://www.google.com I was very pleased with the food and atmosphere, every part of our meal was outstanding (green tea, onion soup, Hibachi Filet Mignon & Grilled Squid, vegetables, and fried rice. We will be coming back to eat here again.
It is a small place, but the food is great! The portion is very good for the price (not huge at all, a healthy one). Don’t expect a fancy place. Personel is very friendly.
Great food! Awesome taste. The Chef is very friendly. The staff was always checking on us to make sure our dishes met our expectations. We especially enjoyed the Miso soup and the California roll. The Hibachi Salmon was excellent too.
