Taste and See Bakery, a one-woman run bakery and mill in Alpine, a tiny West Texas outpost. Specialty grains, milled within 24 hours, transformed into delicious, nutrient-dense artisan breads and pastries. Seeking to nourish the world one loaf at a time. Plenty of love and goodness, but absolutely no white flour or white sugar. We don't think we need that or the other stuff we can't pronounce. Great coffee, interesting teas, local produce as much as possible to create our super simple menu, muffins and frittata, soups, sandwiches and salads. Fancy wines and cheeses cause we think they go great with bread. Good stuff for picnics. All house made. Organic and non GMO. Vegan and vegetarian options, just ask! We try hard to have good food for you! Simple foods, designed to nourish. Ps because we mill all our special grains on site, we are a gluten contaminated environment for those of you with celiac disease... so sorry!!!
