Great Food.. My family and I went yesterday to eat at El Chico on Arlington the food was to die for we had as an appetizer the Spinach Queso Blanco.My wife had the Top Shelf Brisket Quesadillas my son had the Cheeseburger Sliders and I had the Acapulco Shrimp and as dessert we all share the Mexican Apple Pie.We had a GREAT DINNING EXPERIENCE.The service was fast and friendly.We will go back again.Thank you for the great experience that we had.
Over priced for what you get. The shrimp enchiladas had the tiniest shrimp for the $10 plate. Their queso was okay, but who can mess up queso? We won’t go back.

An old standard. It’s not as good as when the chain was run by the Cuellar’s, but it has held on better than most. Solid TexMex standards
Great Food. The steak revolutionary tacos plate was amazing!! Street style tacos that had steak and avocados and a fresh pico. I looked up El Chico. Been around for 70 years making mexican food. I am impressed with this location’s food and staff. They were all so friendly. I will be back.
El Chico on Collins. This is a wonderful resturaunt food is exceptional value, great brisket tacos, and very good sweet tea…The waitstaff, managers, and greeter are just people pleasers and make you feel like you just stepped innto your friends house for dinner or lunch….I reccommend you give this place a try…skip Saltgrass skip Papadeauxs, want real Mexican food go here……
