Edward Hopper Painting. The old building, with its big, open glass windows and red barstools, reminded one of my friends from France of Edward Hopper’s paintings (think Nighthawks). She wanted to go to Shipley’s before her flight back to France, in order to enjoy the American experience of Donuts and Dr. Pepper. Haha… good times.But hey, about the food review: good donuts. Far superior to Dunkin.
Shipley’s on Abram Street are probably the best donuts in Arlington, at least in the northern half of the city where I live. They are often crowded. There’s a reason for that.
Love the donuts, but the Chinese employees are rude.
