Must try it’s chicken tikka butter masala with butter naan…… Loved it….. Every time I got a parcel from there… My tummy was satisfied….. But there buffet is not that satisfying…. Ended up filling myself with samosas and chutneys…. Which was the only thing I found tasty…..
Been there once. Very limited vegetarian options. You can only taste turmeric and chilly in the food. Service is the only thing in which one can rate them good. Tandoor does not hold good value for money. Ambience and cutlery need to be upgraded.Certainly not worth the visit. There are much better options available within few miles.
Went here a couple of weeks ago craving some good Indian food and was not disappointed! Great naan, fantastic dinner dishes! I had the lamb korma, and my fiance had the chicken tikka. The server was very nice, but she was a bit slow. Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry at dinner time. They do offer call ahead/take away. I haven’t been for lunch yet, but I’d love to try the buffet. They do everything well, my fiance likes spicy, and they were able to deliver a dish with enough heat for him, but kept my dish mild. Really great place tucked into an otherwise boring shopping strip. I also had the mango lassi which was excellent, and some papadums to start which were great. A fantastic find!
Very first Indian restaurant experience…WOW. My life has been changed, and I’ve been missing out. The Muglai soup is liquid gold. I’ll be back many more times!
Value for money. The food was decent and tasty for the price. Following things can be improved though1. Plates need to be dry and placed at the start of the table. I also felt that some of the plates were not clean2. Plates were smaller and thought that rotis could be delivered at the table3. The name of the restaurant was tandoor but there were no tandoori rotis
PERFECT – Decades of Great Food and Service. I always enjoy dining in or taking out The Tandoor restaurant meals. I have introduced parties of people to The Tandoor and everyone is delighted with the food. A friend and I dined in numerous Indian restaurants throughout The UK and must state the comparison is equal and sometimes better. Thanks for decades of delicious foods
Always Excellent. We eat here at least once a month for dinner, the food is consistently wonderful. Speed of service varies greatly, but the staff is unfailingly courteous and competent. My personal favorite is the Tawa Vegetable and Kabuli Naan – Delicious! We even had a birthday party here – 15 people all ordering different things and on separate checks – they handled it beautifully. They also have beautiful art on the walls, and the music is pleasant.
