Another place I grew up eating at. I still love it but only because it brings back memories. Otherwise, it’s really and truly not very good and the decor could definitely use some updating. The staff are and always have been great, though!
No frills solid food.. I have gone here since being a little girl so this place has a lot of nostalgia power with me. I always get the huge chicken fried steak and baked potato. The waitstaff is very nice. From what I understand the burgers and chicken aren’t exactly out of this world but the chicken fried steak does not disappoint. A very low-key homey place to grab lunch.
I really like this place. Unlike above reviews, I think it is very reasonably priced. You get a TON of food. Plus, on your birthday, they give you a chicken fried steak meal and a root beer float for free. Yes, FREE.. But seriously, don’t be a cheap-o…. Leave a tip.
Way over priced. OK went to Roosters and order a Ribye steak and it was $20 got the steak it was a 10 oz cheapest cut of a steak I have ever had you can go to a place like Ryans and get a better steak and cheaper. so went back again and got the BBQ and it wasnt any better than the steak and the bath rooms where nasty too.
BBQ was dry the sausage was suppose to be spicy and wasnt people where nice and had large portions but not worth eating dried up food
Do not bother. This place is not good at all. Save your time and money and go to Golden Corral. At least GC is cleaner and the steaks are fresh.
Hey, they have ribs, too, so they oughta also be in the BBQ section. Anyhow, big, juicy ribs, good pecan pie, nice waitresses. I like it.
