I wasnt able to get into the food. I mean, its cooked well, but I came with a coupon to try the place. For a burger restaurant to be expensive youd think that the price would mean that the burger would make your toes curl because it was so good. With coupon our total still exceeded $30. Oh, to make the burger more refined, they do give you three dipping sauces. It wasnt an all star experience for me and my boyfriend.

Been several times, a bit pricey, salads are completely worthless. I usually get the buffalo burger, and I really really really appreciate that they let you choose how you want your burger cooked. Same for the tuna. Sweet potato fries and dipping sauce is on point if not outstanding or different. Getting a burger with a lettuce wrap is a nice way to save on some calories.
Consistent Quality. Every burger I have tried here is excellent. The vegetarian hempseed patty can be substituted on any burger and is very tasty. Try the grilled jalapenos. The fries are consistently of high quality. These burgers compare with Hopdoddy so if you want to skip the line, come here.
Classy decore for a burger joint. Stained concrete floors and butcher block table tops. Ordered at five and burgers delivered to our table ten minutes later. Burgers were juicy 100% black angus beef hormone and antibiotic free. I had the West. The grilled peppers were tangy but not overpowering. Fries – average. Dinner for two $23. OK…but not a favorite stop.
Not Yet Consistent. I love a good burger. So, I don’t mind driving down from Cedar Park to try out a new burger joint. My first trip down just after All Star Burger opened left me quite pleased. My burger was juicy and seasoned a tad on the heavy side but not past the point of tastiness. I liked the decor and frankly liked it enough that it was on my list of burger places to revisit.Yesterday, I went back for the 2nd time. I was disappointed. The piece of meat was an overcooked, heavily seasoned puck. I ordered the All Star Burger, the first on the menu, it came with cheddar cheese. I’ll go either way with cheese on my burgers but when I do get a burger with cheese, I expect there to be enough at least to taste. Frankly, even visually the cheese seemed barely sufficient. The bun was good. The condiments satisfactory. The french fries were unremarkable but the combination of the cajun seasoning on the fries with the excessive seasoning on the burger left me gulping down a soda refill just to wash the excessive saltiness out of my mouth.Service-wise, I was disappointed as well. Whereas my first visit left me pleased, my 2nd visit didn’t. The guy who took my order at the register was, I think, one of the managers I’d met on my first visit. The interaction was terse and he seemed a tad irritated that I had questions. I didn’t come away with any sense that he was pleased that I was there to spend my money.So, though I wanted to give it a thumbs up based on my previous visit, I have to give it a thumbs down. Sorry All Star. I will give your establishment another shot at some point in the future. I think you have all the ingredients to be successful except for consistency.
