I’ve been to this location multiple times over several years. And I’ve always wondered why it is such a ghost town every time. Great location, great views and a playground. The pizza is pretty decent if you like thin and crispy, which I do….but, this place is always a mess! Every time I’ve been here, including today, there’s a handful of tables that need to be bussed. We sat for and entire meal, while employees chatted, and got to look at dirty tables and trash on the floor the entire time. The general condition of the place needs a deep cleaning, the employees need a customer service kick in the but and maybe a smile. We also had requested gluten free pasta for the kids meal and were told we would have to order and adult meal ($4 more) because the can’t add it to a kids meal, really?! The food didn’t take too long and came as we ordered it and except for the cheese not being all melted in the calzone, was all pretty decent. All and all just feels like they are letting the place go. Too bad real because it really could and should be a great place to hang with friends and family.

I’ve liked this place since it’s first location in south Austin. The BBQ chicken pizza and House Special pizza are the best. They have many Texas beers on tap along with a great bottle selection and wine menu. Happy hour is a $1 off drafts and glasses of wine. There is a playscape for the kids outside and a deck above to watch. It’s nice to have them in site but have your own peaceful place. Grab a beer and enjoy the view from the back deck.
