Went there for the first time. Had heard a lot about its sandwiches and soup. I tried the bread bowl tomato cream soup. And ordered a Mediterranean veg sandwich. Being vegetarian I have very little options to choose from at such places. The sandwich was good but the soup quantity in bowl was too less. Besides the bread bowl and the bread on side was so hard to chew or to even bite. I did not like that. Then I had a coffee brownie and cookie sandwich. The desserts are good over there.
PANERA EXPERIENCE. On Monday, I visited the Panera Bread, by the Galleria in Austin on HWY 71. I had the best bagel I haveever eaten. It was a pumpkin pie bagel and I picked plain cream cheese. It was wonderful. I also hada wonderful iced green tea, and several danishes, that I took with me. The girl who waited on me wasso sweet, I was there about 8:30 am. Sometimes, we don’t get to always say the positive experiences atrestaurants, but this was. Too bad, we don’t have one where I live. 🙁
Good soup and love the seasonal offerings.
