When I was there a few months the food was fair at best and the service was awful. We had to ask for everthing over and over again and it wasn’t even busy.

The tamales are THE meal. Whether eating in or taking out. Some of the best we’ve ever had. The food is Tex-Mex, the service fast and friendly. The chips and salsa are first rate, but better bring your own beer. No fancy patio or view, just really good food and friendly service. If you can’t stop for dinner get an order of a dozen tamales (hot or mild), chips and salsa and enjoy on your patio. You will not be disappointed.

Been going to Rosie’s since I moved here in 1974. Consistently goo Tex Mex staple. Now my kid’s favorite restaurant in the world! We go there a couple of times a month and they are consistently very good. It’s not Fonda San Miguel, but we go there for an entirely different experience and never leave disappointed.

Wonderful!!! Great food for a good price! Wide variaty of food, awesome service in a good atmosphere! They don’t have a liquar license so bring your own drinks! Bring in a ice chest or blender and make some mixed drinks! You never know Willie may be in Rosie’s eating! They even have a plate named after him! Really really good food! Enjoy!!!!

Gross. Not only is the food gross but this restaurant is filthy. I don’t even understand how they are in business

Fahitas on Tuesdays and Saturdays are dreamy. The rest of the menu is expected. Great to bring your own beer I

Disappointed as I was hoping for a true Austin experience. The food just wasn’t very tasty. The people are very nice and it’s great that it is BYOB. Makes for a super cheap dinner. It’s good for parties since they have so much space, but just know that the Tamales aren’t very memorable. I’ve only had a couple of the other dishes and I can’t even remember what they were.
