Found this clean little family owned Mexican cafe tucked away on a busy street. Had their breakfast special of nopales and huevos with a grilled biscuit!! It was excellent. Place is very clean, service was great and meals arrived quickly!! Waitress spoke English and was very helpful!! Will definitely go back.
Best Menudo! I can honestly say I never liked Menudo until I had it here! Huge breakfast taco and great chilaquiles! They give you a little plate of fresh fruit when you first order. Overall great place!
This place used to have the best Mexican breakfast in town, I would come here every time I made it to Brownsville. I guess the economy has gotten to them. Canned refried beans have replaced the home made ones. Service is really bad especially if you are a Gringo. My 70 yr old mother had to get up and walk across the restaurant right in front of the owner to get her own coffee refill and was completely ignored. I won’t return. What a shame.
