The food was good and the portions were plenty. We ordered two shrimp and fish combo plates and two kids fish plates, 4 lemonades and it came to $49.00. I think is pricey. Did not like they had Coke’s from the can and the lemonades were huge. I wish they offer medium size drinks. The place has a quiet atmosphere and while eating, customers listen to nice, instrumental musical. Unfortunately, we are not coming back. It was o.k but there are other seafood restaurants who also offer good food and they are less expensive.
Oyster, Shrimp, and Fish Cocktail is delicious. I am not sure about the other customers, but I like the food here. I really enjoy the Vuelve La Vida cocktail with crackers. It comes with oysters, shirmp, fish, pico de gallo, cocktail sauce, and avocado. I also enjoy the soup they bring out as an appetizer. I have never tried any buffet here. In fact, I did not know they had a buffet. In my experience, the cocktails are good and the mojo de ajo is tasty.
Catsup based shrimp cocktail using 300 count shrimp (yuk) very Acidic Ceviche using old fish, stuffed shrimp were over battered and over fried. Only 2 tables here this evening and had to ask for server and were charged for refill of ice tea. Service is bad as the food. Owner/Manager on phone entire time slurping a soup, how appetizing is that? WON’T be back!!!
Very Good. Their fried shrimp was about the best that I have ever had, and the fried fish is very good too. Their rice side dish is absolutely wonderful. Pretty much everything we tried here, including the gumbo, was very good.
