We usually enjoy Cheddars for the low prices, tasty food, fast service. Tonight it was off – not sure where the breakdown occurred. Service was especially slow, though our waitress was very personable when she came. It was over 25 min til we got our food and then it wasnt right. The server brought the correct sides then and though I asked for s croissant, the waitress said she would bring 2, none came with the meal or the correction. At the end of the meal, she remedied that with 4 croissants in s to-go box. The food we had tasted good; we both ate to contentment but the broccoli was clearly overdone- looking pale and brown even compared to the (mistakenly brought) broccoli casserole. Usually a manager stops by; that didnt happen and our waitress was clearly up to her eyeballs taking care of two other large tables. We will likely come back again but if we have a similar experience it will probably be the last.

Very good burger. I ate a late lunch there today -had a bacon cheeseburger w/ fries. The fries were not initially crispy as ordered, but the waiter sent them back and the replacements were -much better. The burger was very good (lots of chewy bacon) and the fries -2nd try, were good to very good. On a return i might skip their fries altogether and just get the burger. I would go back and recommend mildly. They are too busy for me for a weekday -too slow. I didn’t get there until almost 230 and they were still backed up. You may want to wait for the weekend, or after work.
