We are originally from the Valley, but dont get to venture much in the Brownsville area. We stayed over after a wedding and checked out this place for Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere, coffee and food. I had the Egg Diablos and they were spicy but really good. It had a bed of tortilla, Black beans and I got mine over easy. My hubby had the barbacoa flautas, first time I eat barbacoa that way and it didnt disappoint. Definitely stop by if you are in the Brownsville area! Get here early, it is very popular!!
Lolas is a great place to have a small event like for 20 people. I did a baby shower for my sister in law and the place is perfect. The table in the back next to the window is great! It has a nice view of the resaca outside. The chicken salad is a great option to get for everyone. We ordered all stuffed avocados with chicken salad I gave the option to pick a salad or soup and to pick whatever they wanted to drink. We had 3 children and the options for kids are really well served and tasty! Everyone was happy the food is delicious the service is wonderful and the prices are resonable! Really recommend Lolas
