HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!!. Went for Mother’s Day, long wait to be seated was predicted since it was Mother’s Day. I was looking forward to a nice meal. But that was NOT the case. Well after waiting patiently for 45 minutes our table got seated and as soon as our party walked in, the waitress was touching all the food with her hands. The staff of like 3 that were serving the food for a packed restaurant were all over the place. We stood in line another 20 minutes for the so called buffet…. and to our surprise there were only 2 items since the food was not coming out fast enough for a full house. The waiters were all over the place and the buffet was OVER PRICED!!! The ambience was not nice at all… customers upset left and right!!! It was horrible. Why are you charging close to $30 per person when u only have 3 things on your buffet. It was absolutely the WORST place I have been to. Just absolutely absurd and dirty!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!!!

Steak was overcooked. Steak and baked potato were served before the salad. Steak was taken back to be redone. By the time they brought it back I was through eating. Definitely not worth the price. Meal was extremely rushed. Restaurant was not crowded at the time either.

I have a 3year old and I order grill chicken was served row and vegetables they make the vegetables with wine….. I’m like really for a kid you served vegetables with wine! They give us A-1 sauce for our stake and battles were empty……. We are Never going back!
WineGirl. Heard Great reviews from several friends and decided to try it! Great decor! Waiter took good 10 minutes to get to us! Two menu items not available, no wine list, you have to go up the wine cellar , to choose your very ( three times) overpriced wine bottle! Order appetizer and after 20 minutes appetizer arrived with salad! Both were great but after 5 minutes a very cold steak came!. Really it seems that meat was just left to die a little longer before it was served to us! By the time you are half way your steak if is freezer cold! When a very rushed waiter cleaned everything in the table and 10 more minutes passed we asked about dessert and coffee and she was not sure if two desserts were available!. Coffee was cold! Sent back and warm ones came back. Chef Celia came out to to say Hi but to late to fix poor service. Potential to be great place? Definitely if they really take the time to train the wait staff and realize that people who really know about wine are not going to pay those prices. Will wait a couple of months before giving them another chance.
IT STINKS!. A real shame. This place looks beautiful. Pretty artwork, tasteful decor, and a musician at the piano. Lovely, Right? Maybe not. A steakhouse experience is about the STEAK, and the steaks SUCK! They’re overcooked and dry. And I don’t mean just a little overcooked, I mean almost dry as shoe leather. And it’s not just the steaks, either. The vegetables and potatoes are way overcooked too. Such a shame. This place looks and feels exactly as a good steakhouse should. The food ruins it though. Oh, and if you go, I hope you speak Spanish, because NONE of the employees speak English. I’ve been there twice, thinking the first time was a fluke. Sadly, it wasn’t
The food and service could not have been better.. This restaurant is the best in Brownsville and in the Brownsville area — maybe better — since the Resaca Club closed many years ago!I ate lunch there three days ago and am returning tonight with a party of 8 for dinner.Kudos to the chef and staff!
