Folk’s this place has great breakfast! I have always ate here when in town. this place is or was owned by Alex Perez a Cameron county sheriff and judge from back in the 80’s. Anyway, this is a nice small family owned restaurant but it has so much good food it is always full of customers. I miss coming there often like I used to but once a year will have to do for now. Folk’s try it out. You will be glad you did. With lot’s of love from the North east coast!

Breakfast at the Toddle Inn (next door to Peter Piper Pizza on Central in BRO). Fantastic food, service, and prices! I had chilaquiles with spicy green sauce which was out of this world good. Tom had the Cowboy Special (two eggs, two bacon, two pancakes, beans, and hashbrowns) for only $6.59! All our food plus two big iced teas for under $20. Oh, and the flour tortillas were fresh and warm and really delicious. When in Brownsville, check it out.

To start we received complimentary chips and salsa, then a cup of fideo wich was a great start… then I got the El Valle Plate it was super good… it had very tender carne guisada and two cheese enchiladas, rice and beans… and a big soft flour tortilla… It was delicious. to finish we were offered a complimentary dessert… which was either rice pudding or cake… I chose the rice pudding.. It was out of this world!!!! Refills never stopped coming and the servers were very attentive. I give it a high 5 stars…Everything was great!!!
