Best meal I had while I was in town. None of that watered down ranch at Dixie Chicken Shiz.
Horrible dried out brisket! When I told the guy, he didn’t do a thing about it except told me to order the moist part next time I come in.Are you kidding me…no next time buddy!!!
C&J BBQ on Harvey. I love their ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, and sliced beef sandwiches. I like all their employes at this location. I’ve been a customer since they opened. I’ve never had a bad meal. This is the original location. I remember when this was a gas station and you went inside to buy BBQ sandwiches. Eighteen wheelers were always parked on the side of the road to get sandwiches. The food is always great.
Not very good. Dry, pricey –I think I paid more for the snotty attitude of the servers behind the counter than the meal was worth.Nothing special here other than a bunch of college kids behind the counter who felt like the customers were interrupting their conversations with each other.13 Jul, 2011Dry and Small Portions !. Great recommendation from locals! Four of us each got different meats and NOONE was disappointed! I LOVED the turkey! The brisket was also great. If I HAD to find something wrong, I’d say heat up the baked potatoes a little before serving. Overall 4.75 stars from our group!
Great food!. I had the sliced beef sandwich basket with french fries. It was tender and yummy. My boyfriend had the jalapeo sausage platter with potato salad and okra. I thought he was going to lick his plate clean!
Sandwiches and meat are so so, but the sides are great. The atmosphere is good and it’s a nice change of pace from Rudy’s.
