Ring Day Cake. I don’t usually write a lot of reviews but had to for Cake Junkie..We ordered the A&M ring cake with the shield…it was FABULOUS! The cake was even better in person. It was the show stopper of the party.;The people were so helpful and patient while I was trying to decide, Would completely recommend Cake Junkie!
Delicious Cupcakes. I’ve only had the cupcakes here, but they were great! I’d really like to order a cake from them sometime, maybe for graduation/etc. They have quite a few beautiful cakes that are always displayed in the shop. Staff is really friendly and the place always looks very clean.
Not worth the $$$$$. I enjoy Cupcakes more that cake due to the fact that you can have a buffet of flavors and share with your entire group without consuming too many calories. I had heard from a reliable source that VCake Junkie offered delicious and various treats. I stopped in and purchased several cup cakes, cookies and bars. The cupcakes were dry, stale and unimpressive. The bars were an odd mixture of flavors which did not compliment each other. The cookies, snicker doodle, were good I found out that they bake their inventory on a Mondays and Wednesdays. So, if you want a better quality go on one of those days which I did. I purchased 4 different flavors and the pink champagne was the only cupcake worth mentioning.
Not Bad. I’ve only had the cupcakes. I’d recommend the red velvet. I got a few chocolate types too, but I found them to be no better than a homemade boxed cake. They weren’t dense enough… not rich enough either. They cupcakes are cute and the ones decorated like roses are very pretty.
I have only tried the champagne and the little debbie cupcakes. They were both beautiful and moist and had a nice crumb to the cake. I was, however, disappointed in the overwhelming sweetness of both cake and frosting. If you enjoy feeling like you have cavities after eating a desert, these cupcakes are for you!
I got a Little Debbie cupcake and it was delicious. It was very moist and flavorful, I can’t wait to go back!
Great Cake. I happened to find Cake Junkie while running errands and decided to purchase a cake for a birthday. Despite it being two days before the party, they were able to fix me a 1/4 sheet chocolate cake with white buttercream icing. The cake was moist and the icing was just sweet enough without being overbearing. While in to pick up my cake, I noticed a wall of fondant decorated cakes, along one with a 3D replica of an Aggie Ring. I like to try different items when I find new places, so I purchased an array of desserts. The cupcakes, as good as they looked, were disappointing. Most were dry and stale. I don’t know if I happened to get dry cakes or they were old (and needed to be sold before closing). The flavors of the cakes and icings were good, but could not overpower the dryness. The bombs were very good (lemon was my favorite) and the brownies were good also. I would probably purchase another cake from them (even a fondant decorated one), but would skip the rest of the desserts.
