#48 stop in our Texas Monthly 50 Bbq Challenge.Got a half-chicken whacked up into two quarters, BAKED Mac & Cheese, and Corn-on-the-Cob.The chicken was good. It was a bit odd in that it was smoked but had a rotisserie rub so it is like a really good rotisserie chicken. And the slin was pretty crispy and extremely tasty.The Baked Mac & Cheese was also good and had a unique quality – it was baked. Nice touch!The Corn-on-the-Cob was alsp good.Nice and sweet. Kind of a surprise just before closing.The staff was great.The atmosphere is laid back. It was originally a Western Sizzlin, then a Chinese place, and a buffet it has seen lots of remodeling but it is BBQ now!
