Horrible Service – Mgr & Staff. We were a out-of-town sports team playing in a tournment in College Station. We had arranged to utlize their upstairs banquet room and had pre-order pizza for our players. The parents were going to order when we got there and we had told them there would be around 40 folks in all. They did not want us there, they didn’t want to give us menus and when my group of 4 adults ask for water (we were told water was on a distance table) were 3 water bottles sat for about 20 adults. So we went downstairs thinking we could just ask for a pitcher of water and 4 glasses and they told us they would not know who to charge it to. We even took out money to pay for bottle waters and still could not get water. We then ask to speak to the manager (Mr G) and he rudely told us to go sit back down and do not come back downstairs. We all left. Truly bizarre. Plus his office is in plain sight of some of the tables, stacked high with papers just not a good setting.
BEST PEPPERONI PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!. My title says it all. If you get a pizza here it needs to be the basic pepperoni. I’ve tried the supreme and its good but it will make you wish you chose their amazing pepperoni pizza instead. I celebrated my last birthday dinner here and don’t regret it one bit. Plus getting to meet Mr. G was a great experience, and I enjoyed learning about how he began :). People who don’t like this place probably ordered something nasty like pineapple on their pizza and ate it with a fork. Ignore them.
Below average. Pizza is my favorite food. Chicago pizza, to be exact. In TX i understand that may be hard to find, but Mr. G himself boasts that his pizza is the best in the world. Yeah.. I would much rather have eaten Domino’s. The pizza was rather bland and pretty dry. We didn’t even take our leftovers. As far as the restaurant goes, it was extremely old and dirty looking, with outdated menus and food and dust covering the floor. Would not recommend and we won’t be returning.
Excellente!. I have been to Mr. G’s twice now and have had a wonderful experience both times. The first time I went on a double Valentine’s date and, while it was busy, we were seated quickly, waited on in a good amount of time, and had the most wonderful pizza I have had in a long time. The second time, a friend and I went and it was almost empty. The service was still top notch and the calzone was GINORMOUS! We split it and each only ate half of our half! Of course we had had some appetizers, but we loved it! Mrs. G came and talked to us my first time there and Mr. G talked to us both times I was there and asked how our food was. I love the atmosphere and the food was delicious!
The pizza isn’t really that great. Scolding hot pizza with uncooked toppings.
Good Pizza. I ate here the other night for the first time and really enjoyed the pizza and had great service. Unlike other reviews, we changed a few toppings on the pizza and had know problem. I will go again.
Pizza is good, But Mr. G is what makes it Great. I love coming here. Mr. G is always at his store and very friendly. He is what makes the exp. Great.!
