Disappointing. I am obsessed with cupcakes and, honestly, they don’t have to be anything special! But I went during a regular old Saturday late morning/early afternoon to try them out (as they’re the only cupcake place i know about in B/CS) and there were several things I found lacking:1. The sketchy house it’s located in–needs a *ton* of work, and the nasty carpet did not exactly wet my appetite…and what’s up with having nowhere to sit in there?!2. The service. Really young gal behind the counter who was very flat in her affect/not friendly at all. She seemed to be really annoyed to be working there.3. We asked the chica to buy some water–they don’t sell any!! Are you kidding me?! B/CS in June 100 degrees and no water…or ANYTHING to drink?!4. To make #3 worse, the cupcakes were SO DRY. So then I really needed something to drink! lol. I had the berry cupcake and it was basically a muffin with some icing on top, and even the icing was bad! It was super bland, perhaps it had been over-whipped? Who knows, but I was with three others and each tried a different cupcake and no one liked them. Again, I’m not hard to please and I was *so* looking forward to trying this place out, but the ambiance was terrible, the service poor, and the cupcakes honestly were not tasty. I got bored halfway through eating mine! And I’ve almost never met a sweet I didn’t like! Too bad.
Great taste, but dry.. The presentation of the cupcakes is beautiful! I have tried almost all of the flavors. They have a great taste, but the cake is too dry! If they can tweak the recipe to make the cake moist, they would be superb!! My fave. flavor is the coconut!

I was pleasantly surprised by my cupcakery. We chose 4 cupcakes to try and really enjoyed 3 – Elvis pelvis, strawberry cheesecake, and the tropical cupcake. The turtle cheesecake was a bit dry. The whipped cream frosting on the tropical cupcake was great. The cupcakes were large and definitely big enough to share. I’ll definitely be back!
Very beautiful presentation…. Icing is wonderful, cupcake itself was dry to me. Overall, good-but I prefer a moist cake.
It’s okay…. My Cupcakery is located on a house on the bend in Bryan. Be careful or you’ll miss it. You can park behind the house and walk down the hallway to the bakery. It is a mother-daughter business where they make large mug-sized cupcakes (about 9 flavors a day) with homemade icing. I tried one of each flavor available. Some were okay, but most were very dense and dry. I know some people enjoy these qualities, but I prefer my cupcakes to be lighter and more moist.Of the ones I tried, I liked the Gingerbread with cream cheese frosting the most. The mother and daughter are very nice. I hope they improve their product and gain a loyal following in B/CS.
