I’ve been going to Pepe’s since I was kid. Their service has always been quick and friendly and I’ve never tried anything here that I didn’t like. The chili and beans is the best!
I’ll never go back. We left our name with the hostess and were told 20 to 25 minutes. No problem it’s Saturday night. After 20 minutes we start to watch what’s happening in the dining room – no one is eating and no food is coming out of the kitchen. We should’ve left then. We were seated after a 30 minute wait. The hostess took our drink but not alcoholic because she can’t serve alcohol. We wait for 20 minutes – no server. We see the hostess and about a server and she says we don’t have one. REALLY!?! We got up and left. Can’t speak for the food because I didn’t get an opportunity to try it.
