Nothing different. I am amazed at the good reviews, must be people who work there. I went not long after they opened and the snobby attitude was in full force then. I asked about the organic coffees and tea and the person behind the counter was very hateful and did not like being asked questions. The staff was not helpful and their attitudes did not make me want to tip them. It apparently hasn’t changed. Why waste your money on such a snobby place that has so little reason to be that way? At one time the rule was keep the customer happy not act like an idiot and tick them off. When I get really good service I tip 20 to 25 percent depending on how good it was, the wait staff there deserved a zero.

Brilliant Soup & Sandwiches. Not only does The Village/Art 979 feature amazing musical and artistic talent; they also make the best paninis around. The soup is excellent, I’ve never had one that I didn’t like.
Art 979/ The Village Cafe. This place is amazing! it is a really unique sandwich shop. It is also a great place to relax and study. There is a featured artist every month, so the art is always changing which is nice. They also have many different types of beer to choose from which is nice. The sandwiches there are really good and the coffee is awesome as well.
