If you smoke… You are not wanted! You are not allowed to smoke OUTSIDE !!! Liberal snobs. What’s next? No large sodas? New Yorker’s welcome. Not for real Texans. Texans are used to better food and living free.

Lunch to go. I had heard about their fresh made to order tacos, & I’m glad I decided to try them! I got grilled chicken on corn with guacamole, tomatoes, green queso, & white shredded cheese! They were very good, messy, but very good! There wasn’t a line & from the time I parked to the time I got in my car was only 6 mins!

So-so food. This was a good Place, at one time, it’s over rated, and especially OVER priced. They had a girl at the TacoBar, I think her name was Sydney, she left like last August 2011, and I stopped going there since then. The employees are amateurs, when it comes to serving and portions. Sydney was the best, the Guy in charge is a moron, and I can’t say anything good about all the other employees there. Except Chef Juan Gonzales, who I think should be in charge, cause his talents are being wasted behind the serving counter. They need better trainining for their Food service employees, they need to be more Presentable and Personable. But what do you expect from a BGC company, we all know they treat their employees like wash rags, which are all disposable.Over all food is OK, not the best, but Not the worst. The Mexican rice, taste like it comes out of a aluminum can from El-Chico or a Sysco commercial food service.About anything good, is the cooked meats, but the portions are paltry… Not really worth the money, or atmosphere, you would get better service at Taco Bueno, and probably Taco Bell which isn’t saying much. And everything else inside the store is WELL over priced, you would get a better deal at the Mini-mart up the street, and probably better service. I will say this the fresh breads are good. But thats about it.

Yes.. I haven’t had anything bad at this place, either inside at the sandwich or taco bars or the salad bar, or outside at the grill. It adds up quick price wise, but the quality is unsurpassed. You can’t say a ton about the service, really, apart from the cheerfulness of those taking your order because you seat yourself and pick up your own food. We usually split (if outside) some sliders and some fish tacos. They use a great little brioche bun and a pimento cheese for the sliders that both work really well. The portion of fish could be a tad more generous in the fish taco, as it can get lost in the delicious yet abundant slaw they have in there. I’ve tried nearly every variety of taco I can think of at the taco bar, and they’ve all been good. The brisket and the pork are probably my favorite…I can skip the beans and rice, but they’re not bad. We make the trip out probably more often than we should, but it’s worth it every time.

FRESH!. I have no tried the 801 Grill on the back patio but i assume that the Taco and Sandwich bar inside is included with all of FRESHs eateries. I have tried just about every taco they make and everything was fresh and tasty! I’ve only tried the cuban sandwich and while the pork butt was a bit dry on the tips, i did get the sandwich right before they were closing and pork dries out pretty easily on an assembly line. Still, i loved it and i am dying to go back and try the grown up grilled cheese with brie! FRESH lives up to its name in all respects. The hot foods are all reasonably priced and the cold foods are just as god reheated at home. Definitely give them a try, just beware shopping for actual groceries here. A lot of things are a bit too pricey for me.
