Amazing Food!. I’ve eaten at this restaurant enough over the past year or so to give more than a sufficient review; I just haven’t done it. I wasn’t compelled to actually write a review myself until I noted a negative review of The Stand very recently. This place doesn’t deserve negative feedback at all. I’ve visited this place once or twice a week for the past 6 months or so consistently, and I have literally never had one bad experience. The restaurant is run by genuinely good people that want nothing more than to provide you with a quality dining experience. It is an absolute top notch restaurant. The food is great, and the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. If you live in the area or even if you’re just passing through, it’d be well worth your time to visit The Stand and give it a try. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Now, if you want to stick around so you know what you should get, well I outline that in my next couple of paragraphs. My personal favorite order is to get the Hamburger link(legit this is a hamburger in link form) and the cheddar & jalapeno link and order grilled onion, cheese, and bacon as my toppings for both. Then once I get my order, I go over to the condiment tray(which includes dill relish, jalapenos, sweet relish etc.) and load the hot dogs down even further with the Stand’s BBQ sauce as well as a healthy serving of sweet relish on both my dogs as well. That’s probably not your thing because my hot dogs at this point have turned into an excavation with a fork & knife to get to the hot dog itself, but I think digging my way through the layers of deliciousness is part of the adventure at the Stand. I forgot to mention that I also order potato salad as well with my meal. If you are a fan at all of potato salad, do NOT pass up the opportunity to order a side of potato salad. It’s absolutely delicious, and you will not be disappointed. There’s another item that I’ve tried recently that literally blew my taste buds away, the hot link sandwich. I have no idea how the master chef at The Stand came up with this monster of a sandwich, but the flavor combination of this sandwich is just unreal to me: cole slaw, The Stand’s sauce, bacon, and cheese, and grilled onions(I think?). I could have just added the grilled onions myself, but I’m pretty sure they were on there standard lol. If not, it’s something like 50 cents to add them, and in my opinion, it’s well worth it. If you’re going to purchase one thing at The Stand when you visit, make it this sandwich. I can never just get one thing when I dine here because of how impressive the food is, but if I was forced to narrow it down to one item, I would definitely make it the hot link sandwich. It’s original, delicious, and if you add extra BBQ sauce like me, incredibly messy. Prepare to go through some napkins taking down this monster of a sandwich.Anyway, I think I’ve made my point in this novel sized review. Great food, good people, and a unique dining experience. Just try it….it’s real good. Let the food speak for itself when you visit.
Should be named the $tand. This place is over priced for a hot dog and sausages that you can get elsewhere. If you make the mistake of eating here make sure you look at the prices for the toppings (really drive your bill up)!!! My suggestion is to just buy hot dogs and sausages in bulk, it’s way cheaper than buying one here!!!! #upsetcauseIwastedmymoneyhere.
Hot dog heaven!. This place is great, service is superb! and the dogs amazing 🙂 now to my favorite: jalapeno & cheese sausage in a toasted fresh bun, grilled onions and kraut, Stanley sauce and cheese!! oh and make it 2! do your taste buds a favor and try it, absolutely won’t be dissapointed!!!
Outstanding!. The Stand is one of our favorite places for a fast meal for the family. Their 100% beef dogs are fabulous with all the amazing toppings you can add and the mac and cheese side will melt in your mouth. The Stand is always clean and the service always courteous. We feel it is a great value and are so happy that they have extended their hours! Visit The Stand…you will not be disappointed!

I can say a bad word about this place. Quirky decor and great dogs. So far I’ve had the hot link, jalapeo, Chicago and chili and that’s just this week! One day left in Tyler and I’ll give you one guess where I’ll be having lunch.
My husband and I finally made it to The Stand today for lunch. Brat was outstanding and the servers were very helpful and friendly. Today was our first visit but it won’t be our last. Excellent.
