Too Many Calories without the Flavor. Arby roast-beef sandwiches are not a favorite. The beef has a unique flavor that I do not enjoy. I have added the cheese from time to time, but it’s liquid and not pleasing. The horseradish option is pretty good, but it does not really change the meat flavor. Today I tried a Reuben. It looks great. The marbled rye is eye appealing; however, I did not enjoy the sandwich. The dominate taste was the Russian dressing. The rye, corn beef and sauerkraut did not come through in the flavors. The curly fries are usually a highlight at Arby’s. I love the curly shape with coated flavors. The crunchies at the bottom of the carton are greatness. This time the fries were cold, so the grease was very noticeable. I doubt I will be back. There are too many options out there.
