Whimsical – Phenomenal – Coffee Galore. Wow, blown away. Earns a spot on my great first experience list. As you drive up to Cafe Brazil’s freestanding building, you cannot help but be impressed by the colorful whimsical look. It sets a nice fun tone before you even step into the place. Inside, the blues, yellows & salmon colors continue. It’s very pleasing and relaxing even though it’s kind of color loud. The service is top notch, but is a little reserved. It took me asking questions about the place to get them to open up. Once they did, they shared so much. The coffee in this place is phenomenal. They have a wall of bins of whole coffee beans. There are 32 different flavored beans. They work with a local distributor to mix, test and serve different flavors each day/week/month. While there are 32 flavors in the bins, they only serve six or seven each day. Today, I had the salty caramel. It was very rich and smooth. I loved it. I wish this was next to my house, I would be here daily trying the coffees. So let’s move from the coffee to the food. Wow, that was very good. I had the Brazilian Breakfast which is short for two farm fresh eggs, a chorizo empanada, rosemary potatoes and homemade white bread. I cannot say enough about this breakfast. It was $8 bucks, and it was all homemade. Who makes their own bread? The chorizo in the empanada was spicy and wonderful. The rosemary potatoes are small quartered red potatoes baked with a light cover of rosemary. I could go on. This place was just fabulous. Btw, a hallmark of a very good place is a crossmix of the people in the place. It was packed. There were suits, dirty overalls, business casual, hospital scrubs, and jeans with a baseball cap. Everyone must love this place!
I didn’t like it the food didn’t really have quality and the employees were really rude
Yum. Had the fish tacos. Very interesting. They were sweet and spicy. If I go back I will try an omelet, they looked amazing. The brazil select coffee was tasty.
Good food great prices. My title says it all! Take home a bag of some snickerdoodle coffee, it is out of this world.
I have been to this location no less a 100 times since 06 and have always had great service today we sat for over 12 min before we had someone take our drink order. When did finally get to our table not even a sorry for the delay. One the reasons we always came was because of the great service. I guess I can add to the last resort list. Ticket #8346
Best breakfast in North Dallas. Breakfast chile relleno is really good.
