Hole in the wall bar atmosphere with a lot of regulars so at first it may come off as rough but what a gem! The positives are the food is outstanding. I have a feeling the owner is a real foodie and is into the details that make the difference. I’m talking about hot chips with the queso, I’m taking about fried rice that is spicy and cooked to perfection, and fair drink prices even past happy hour. Do not expect fast service as they cook to order but it’s worth the wait. The negatives are minor. Seating was uncomfortable, tvs not the best or in the best locations, and a few guests were over-served alcohol and were very weird towards us…but there are things that come with smaller places like this and are worth putting up with. Go with an adventurous attitude and patience and you’re golden at Frankie’s.
