Horrible Service. I asked manager and owner due to the bad service. No action occurred instead over charged my order. If I did not look careful, I would br overcharged. No apology. Bad service. Over-price.Go other Sushi place cross street
Amazing! It’s very good sushi, very clean and excellent service. For appetizer we had the gyoza, escargot and jellyfish. Rey flavorful. For our main entree- We had the chef special. Fresh yellowtail, tuna, salmon…. Very fresh and they try to accommodate you with anything. We have them a list of the types of fished we liked and they out together a wonderful meal. The baked volcano roll was so delicious, just like at my favorite sushi place in Philly. YUM!!! Would definitely recommend to others and will come again next week!
Dinner of kings!!. It was my first time going to a haro (fresh sashmi) joint. Definitely something that i will do again. I went with a group of friends and ordered a haro special 6. This was the first sashimi course menu that i tried. It consisted of pumpkin porridge(halloween special?), 10-12 appetizers/side dishes, two very generous boats or fresh sashimi, and a platter of uni and other delicacies. After we were done with our food the server brought out a spicy fish soup (maeuntang), with a bowl of assorted fish roe on top of rice and to top it all off i got STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM!!! Over all Gangnam Sushi had great service, great food, and the presentation was amazing. On another note the soju (korean alcohol) was priced a little higher then other restaurants i believe a bottle cost $13.99 a little higher then expected but still well worth it. Great restaurant for date night or to take the boss.
I like it.. I have been here few times and the atmosphere is definitely modern and unique. Good mixture of Japanese and Korean. The menu is huge! I will have to go back 50 times to try everything they have. I think the design could be arranged a little better so it’s easier to navigate to what you want. Information was missing such as lunch hours and how many sushi pieces in a given meal. Shabu-Shabu was one of the best in Texas area. The hostesses were not especially welcoming in my experience. I was not greeted at all- at first I thought the hostess -male- was a customer. I didn’t really feel welcomed when I walked in. The waitress was nice. All those things added up to about 3 stars because I am a bit judge when it comes to customer service and all things design. With that said, the FOOD– the most important part– was a 5 stars. Sake Selection was amazing and Sashimi – Especially Korean Fluke – also amazing and rolls were delicious!!, so I say a solid 4 stars for Gangnam Sushi House I would say this is a good place for families and friends. Also private dining room could easily impress your business partners…
