RUDE Staff, tacky place. If I could give less than poor for service I would. EXTREMELY RUDE, condescending and judgmental staff. The owner I think she is, ventured into political lecturing and was very argumentative! Not the best way to make a first impression. I guess I forgot that the Cuban Diaspora simply CANNOT separate their own political right wing positions from the everyday life we live in this country… I was just curious about the place as I was in the neighborhood. Shop appearance was tacky and not very clean. The food I bought was ok, quite greasy, nothing to write home about… I have been to many ethnic-specific places in the DFW area, some where they barely spoke English but they were all very welcoming, polite and thankful you went in to check their business. I still cant believe a shop owner would behave like this!!! And NO, I am NOT part of any competitive business or paid for my opinion! I am just offended that a business owner can display such rude behavior… Some of us just do NOT care for the 50+ year old bitterness and bickering and political lobbying still going on in the Cuban community… After all this is Texas, not Florida!

Great Cuban sandwich and pastry shop. Excellent Cuban pastries. The Cuban sandwich is meaty and very good.I only regret that it took me too long to discover this gem.

There coffee is absolutely delicious. And pastries are very fresh and yummy. I bought a pound of espresso coffee beans and made coffee in my French press. It was the best coffee I have ever had; I will never forget that first sip of coffee. I honestly could not believe how good it was. I had been wanting to try some thing new. I am hooked on this coffee. I am looking for the same coffee in decaf. for late coffee enjoyment, but I can’t find any. But… I will enjoy this coffee in the morning.

This is the best Cuban place to eat outside of Miami or south Florida.

Bakery. The sandwich was okay and over price.

Pastries were fabulous. The ladies here were friendly and very informative. My sandwich was perfect. Ropa vieja. Just a joy to dine here. Go back in a heartbeat.

Delicious. Just returned from this little bakery. The service was very helpful and kind. We were made to feel welcome and so comfortable. The food was fabulous – we tried the stuffed potato ball and the guava and cheese pastry. Both were delicious I brought more home with me to share with my family. The prices are also very reasonable. Planning on going back soon with friends and family. It is definitely worth trying!
